REFLECTION
Experience
During the lecture of about 14 weeks, there were parts to review some of the things I learned in typography, and there were many additional parts to learn new parts. Most of the tasks were centred on creating new fonts except for one thing. Like typography, the final step was to create a font using FontLab.
Observations
Overall, the assignments tended to be pushed back because I couldn't take about 3 weeks of lectures. As a result, I failed to manage my time effectively and was unable to produce results that I was completely satisfied with. In the latter part of the course, we had to switch to online classes due to issues with the class, which prevented me from receiving direct feedback. Face-to-face feedback was definitely more effective.
Findings
The most regrettable part was not being able to attend the lectures from the beginning. As a result, the outcome of Task 1 was not as good as Task 2 and 3, and I did not receive sufficient feedback, which I believe impacted the quality. Nevertheless, I felt proud to have completed Tasks 2 and 3.
