    Project 1: Exercise 1 - Audio Dubbing

Everything everywhere all at once without sound

In this exercise 1, we are tasked with making an Everything Everywhere All At Once video with dubbing. First, the lecturer wants me to make a spreadsheet for planning and understanding audio dubbing.

After getting confirmation from the lecturer, I started to edit the video that had no sound as planned in the spreadsheet before.

The last process was adding my voice to the characters' voice part. I recorded my voice on my phone seeing the lecture's script. Then, I edited my voice to Evelyn, Waymond and others' parts, modulating my voice in the case of a man using a Pitch shifter.

If my voice was too small, I increased my voice sound.

    Project 1: Exercise 2 - Audio Editing

    Lecture note W9: Audio Editing

We are tasked to practise the audio editing as given in the slides, and then start Exercise 2 submission. First, I started practising based on slides 5 - 11. As it was my first time, it was challenging and took time.

After finishing practice, I started the task to submit. So first, I recorded my voice for 5 seconds and edited it to the given topics from the slides: Voice of a phone call, Voice coming from inside of a closet, Voice of toilet/bathroom, underground cave, and Alien/Orc voice.

    5. Alien/Orc voice

After editing each voice, I checked it once to ensure it fit the given topics. Then, I exported it as an MP3 file and uploaded it to a Google Drive folder.

    REFLECTION

    Week 3 asynchronous class materials

This week's asynchronous class was easier than last week's. The Storyboard was easy to understand because it was something I did a lot before working on a project in other lectures. In the video, the importance of the Storyboard was taken for granted in the past, so I paid attention to understanding in detail how it affects the plan before video production.

    Week 4 asynchronous class materials

It was interesting to understand and learn the roles of each production crew member. It was fun to look at the job, so I knew it even without a video. The most interesting ones were the Cinematographer and Production Designer. I read carefully because they were the members who managed the photo design and overall visuals.
