    Project 2

In Project 2, I created the character I had planned using Blender to bring it into 3D. Since I wasn’t very familiar with the anatomy of the chest, I searched for references similar to the deer legs I had in mind. Specifically, I needed photos of deer from the front, side, and back to get the proper perspective.

Following what I learned in the ANATOMY course, I started with the face and then moved on to the torso. I tried to replicate a similar look based on the photos and the face I had sketched.

I created Artemis’s weapon based on the sketches I had, and since its shape was quite simple, it didn’t take long. However, Artemis’s clothing took more time than expected. Expressing the thin fabric and incorporating the elements of traditional Korean clothing proved to be quite a challenging task.

    REFLECTION

    Experience

For Project 2, since I was creating a 3D character using Blender, I tried to apply what I learned from the ANATOMY course. Although the platforms were different, there were a lot of similarities. For example, I used some of the hair techniques I learned from the ANATOMY assignment.

    Observations

I spent a lot of time creating detailed clothing, so I watched a lot of tutorials to figure out how to approach it. On top of that, Blender took up a lot of storage space, and every time I tried to do something, it would take about two minutes to load before I could continue. This constant delay made the process even longer.

    Findings

Looking back, I feel like I didn’t manage my time well during Project 2. I ended up rushing and didn’t have time to get feedback, which I regret. I’ve struggled with time management before, and while it’s frustrating, I’m determined that next time, if I take another course, I’ll be much more disciplined with managing my time.
