Exercise 1: Drawing Practice
In the first class, the lecturer suggested that it would be good to practice drawing lines.

Following his advice, I bought a sketchbook and practiced drawing lines, drawing cubes from various angles, and choosing either a mouse or a mosquito to draw from different perspectives alongside the cubes. Lastly, I practiced drawing a cat. Since he instructed us to use a pen, I made an effort to draw entirely with a pen from start to finish.

Exercise 2: Skeletal Study
After practicing basic drawing and warming up, I studied and drew skulls in my sketchbook.

I also practiced drawing them digitally and then moved on to studying human body poses.

Exercise 3: Human Head
In Exercise 3, I attempted to create a skull and a human face using Blender for the first time.

realized later that I needed to do the sketches first, so I quickly sketched them, ensuring that the necessary information was clearly visible at a glance.

Exercise 4: Muscle Study
Studying muscles was really difficult. I haven’t completed the face yet, but I have a basic understanding of it. However, the muscle part was tough to grasp, and it felt like something I had to memorize.

Using Blender, I tried to express the visible muscles as best as I could. I also realized later that the muscle part needed sketches, so I tried to complete them as quickly as possible.

Since I had already covered the muscle part for the hands earlier, I focused on sketching first. While creating the hands in Blender, I brought in examples that I had used previously for reference and studied them.

Exercise 6: Feet
The foot part, like the hands, required urgent sketching, so I continued my studies by referencing various sources. Fortunately, the images of feet settled in my mind more clearly and quickly.

Exercise 7: Facial Expression
For the expression part, I applied the techniques I learned in the Character Design section for drawing emotions. Since I was working on a different character in Character Design, I drew a new one specifically for this.

REFLECTION
Experience
Since this course is for beginners who are learning about human anatomy, there was a lot for me to study. Especially in the muscles section, even after looking at the materials, I had a hard time understanding why the muscles moved the way they did and remembering the names of each muscle. Additionally, since it was my first time working with 3D, I had to study Blender and 3D concepts by watching the lecturer’s lessons and YouTube videos.

Observations
I expected that we would be learning about the human body, so the lessons were quite informative and interesting. The problem was that I wasn’t able to absorb and fully understand the information. Furthermore, there were significant challenges in implementing this knowledge in both 3D and 2D. However, since understanding the human body is essential for artists, I made efforts to develop both my skills and knowledge.

Findings
As with every assignment, there were difficulties and moments of confusion. But once I completed it, I felt a sense of accomplishment, even if the progress was small. Especially in the case of human anatomy, I clearly realized my shortcomings, which made me more determined to improve. I hope that this experience will build up over time and help me in the future, and I believe I worked hard to overcome the difficult parts.
