Flip 1: Different types of infographics & Online tools (W2)
Week 2 Flip Topic
I. Group Task
We were encouraged to find out the different types of infographics, the kind of information they’re applicable for, and examples for each identified type for the group task. So each team member researched and made the slide to present in class.
Fig 1.1.1 Group slide (Week 1 / 9.2.2024)
II. Individual Task
For personal assignments, I had to choose a poorly constructed infographic poster and redesign it using the online infographic tool designated by the instructor.
The infographic I chose was "Physical activity guidelines during our normal life in one week suggested".

Fig 1.2.1 Infographic poster I chose (Week 1 / 10.2.2024)
I thought it was hard to be a good infographic because of the design that looked a little promiscuous and had unnecessary design elements. So I redesigned it using VISME among the online tools that the lecturer suggested.
First of all, I made a sketch to substantiate the idea.

Fig 1.2.2 Sketch (Week 1 / 10.2.2024)
And then I made an infographic in turn to match the sketch.

Fig 1.2.5 Process 3 (Week 1 / 10.2.2024)

Fig 1.2.6 Process 4 (Week 1 / 10.2.2024)
As I made this, I thought that the pyramid's location was slightly ambiguous. Therefore, the position of the pyramid was changed so that the upper point of the pyramid perfectly touched the left side, and the slightly empty space on the right was filled with a picture that fits the overall infographic design.

Personal rating and review:
Free online infographic tool: Canva
Difficulty, intuitiveness - ★★★★★
I don't think the difficulty of using Canva is that high. Also, it's impossible to make high-quality infographics in an easier way than this in the first place. At the level of Canva, people can make infographics comfortably enough.
Usefulness - ★★★★☆
Canva is free to design and create things that can be used in many fields. People can produce a wide variety of designs for YouTube, Presentations, Instagram Stories, etc.
Design templates, choices - ★★★☆☆
Canva is easy to use and accessible, but in fact, many of the paintings and templates provided by Canva are for a premium that people have to pay for. Therefore, there are many types of templates and other things, but they are not available for free.

REFLECTION
At first, I didn't know what flip class was, so I thought it would be fun, but when I found out that it was a presentation class, to be honest, I really didn't want to do it. The first reason was that I didn't have much confidence in the presentation. And because of this first reason, I felt burdened to take a lot of time and care about many tasks in other lectures.
To be honest, again, it never took less time, but it seemed that the work was reduced because there were 15 team members, including me. Also, it was our leader who struggled the most, so I don't think I'm in a position to say that it was difficult.
